    Sleeping bag and/or sheets/blankets
    Pillow
    Shorts and tshirts
    Swimsuit
    Toiletries
    Rainjacket (optional)
Bath towels/washcloths for showers (at least 2), will need a towel at the pool too.
Shower accessories (soap, deodorant, shampoo, shower shoes, etc)

What should I not pack for camp?

No electronic devices are to be used on the bus or outside of the cabin. We want to grow as a group and learn about each other while learning more about God and these items can be a distraction. If you choose to bring an mp3 player or cell phone we have NO way of guaranteeing the security of these items.
Personal video game systems and mp3 player speakers are not permitted at camp.

What is the dress code for camp?
Girls should bring a modest one piece swimsuit (no deep v-necks) or a tankini that overlaps completely. A bikini with a tshirt over it is not permissible.
Girls shirts should not be low-cut. If sleeveless, the band/straps should be more than one-inch wide with no bra straps showing. When you raise your arms you should not be able to see your stomach. When you bend down, you should not be able to see your underwear.
All shorts should be modest (no short shorts). We realize that it is difficult for some girls to find longer shorts. So, here is the compromise: shorts must be modest and come to at least mid-thigh.
We should not be able to see your underwear at any time – from the top or the bottom. (girls and guys)
Guys should not wear “wife beater” type undershirts.

What do my parents need to give to Courtney or George before we leave for camp?

We need to have a medical release form (the blue form) and the camp form found in the brochure. If you have not yet turned in any forms we will enclose them in this envelope.

If you have not already paid you need to do so immediately.

How can my parents reach me if they need me while at camp?

Courtney and George will have their cell phone with them in case of emergency, they work in most places of camp, but they might have to call you back.

            Courtney (901) 240-6143 and George (901) 596-9974 Zac (901) 674-7799

The shepherds have agreed to give our youth ministry a half a million dollar building located in the heart of Collierville to supply the teens of Collierville with a place to call their own. A place for churched and unchurched teens to encounter God while using all appropriate methods to excite, inspire, capture and ignite young people for Jesus. The SHACK will strive to gain the trust and respect of community youths and then use it as a springboard for personal friendship, mentoring, and ultimately sharing the life changing message of the gospel of Christ.

Since we are eager to grow the number of Christ following in Collierville both spiritually and numerically, we look to expand our ministry to include more opportunities to contact and engage our own youth and to help our students to reach out to other teens. Some of these opportunities include:

              Weekly Bible Studies

              A prayer room

              After school fellowship

A place for small groups to meet

A Venue for aspiring musicians to perform

              Tutoring and Mentoring Opportunities

              5th quarters after athletic events

A site for cast parties after local drama performances

              Weekly Younglife club

              Teen art shows

              Music Lessons

              Club meeting place
